Managing Director

Ross Hogan

Ross Hogan founded TNE Civil in 2020, originally named Togail Na Heireann, where he provides the strategic direction to ensure the company consistently delivers on its commitments.

 

A carpenter by trade, Ross began his career in Ireland before moving to Australia in 2012 with his family. After 20 years experience in construction across Europe and Australia, Ross now specialises in complex concrete structures and road infrastructure projects. ​​​​​​​​​​​

Senior Project Engineer

Mario Suarez

Mario is a Civil Structural Engineer originally from Colombia, where he earned both his Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and his Master’s in Structural Engineering.

 

Over the past 12 years he served as a Principal Structural Designer on multi-span bridges, including steel, pre-stressed, and cantilevered concrete designs, and gained filed experience as a Site Engineer for 20-story buildings and other major infrastructure projects.

 

Mario relocated to Perth with his young family and joined TNE as a Project Engineer in January 2023 before being promoted to Senior Project Engineer a year later. Outside of work, Mario enjoys salsa dancing with his wife and spending quality time with his three children. ​​

Construction Project Manager

Raza Ahsan

As the Construction Project Manager at TNE, Raza works across both engineering and project management. Raza moved to the USA from Saudi Arabia in 2010 to study Business Administration before relocating to Perth to complete his Masters in Project Management.

 

At TNE his role includes detailed project budget analysis and comprehensive site quality and compliance checks throughout the entire project journey. He is also involved in the procurement and allocation of onsite labor, tender assessment, sourcing plant materials and machinery, and project cost tracking.

Project Engineer

Malith Diyabalanage

Malith joined TNE in 2021 as a Site Civil Engineer after graduating from his Bachelor of Engineering degree with Honours. In January 2023, he progressed into the role of Project Engineer, where he is responsible for overseeing the delivery of major civil construction projects and providing on-site support to the project team.

​

Malith continues to grow his expertise across all stages of project delivery and his leadership skills. 

We’re proud to be part of Malith’s career journey and excited to see what’s ahead for him at TNE!​​​

Project Accountant

Megan McDaid

After graduating from Atlantic Technological University in Ireland with a Bachelor of Business and an Honours Degree in Accounting, Megan began her career in Financial Services before joining the TNE family in February 2024. Her transition into the construction industry was driven by the desire for a new challenge and to explore a unique side to accounting.

 

Megan works across various financial tasks at TNE, from payroll and cost tracking to overseeing projects from initial contracts to final invoices. Outside of work, Megan loves making the most of Perth’s beautiful coast.​​

Mobilisation Coordinator

Olivia Harkin

Initially as a Labourer, Olivia joined TNE Civil in early 2024 before transitioning into Administration, Onboarding and Mobilisation.  

 

In her current role, Olivia plays an integral part in managing the onboarding process and mobilising staff between projects to ensure everything is organised to support the team and keep operations running smoothly. 

 

Olivia enjoys unwinding from her busy days by finding some well deserved quiet time with a good book, as well as going camping and being outdoors with friends.​

Senior Project Manager

Minura Perera

Minura specialises in Structures and project manages large construction projects from the initial conception phase through to handover as the Senior Project Manager at TNE. He has risen quickly in his civil construction career after graduating from Edith Cowan University, Perth with a First Class Honours degree in Civil Engineering in 2019.

 

Minura loves being part of such a diverse team at TNE and working across multiple projects with the challenges that brings. He loves to cook traditional meals from his home country Sri Lanka and bring them into the office for the staff to try. ​

Project Engineer

Shery Tanvir

Shery is a Mechanical Engineer who joined TNE through one of our graduate programs in 2022 after completing his Honours Degree at Edith Cowan University. Originally from Pakistan, Shery moved to Perth in 2015 to further his studies and has since welcomed two beautiful children to his family. 

 

Fluent in SolidWorks and Ansys Mechanical, Shery was awarded for his CAD model for the ECU CANstruction in the 2018 competition by Engineers Australia. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Project Engineer

Suranga De Silva

Suranga joined TNE in 2024 as a Project Engineer after completing his Masters Degree in Engineering.

 

Throughout his 12-year career history in both Sri Lanka and Australia, Suranga has managed and delivered complex, high-value projects across structural engineering, project planning, construction management, and quality assurance. He is passionate about sustainability and developing innovative solutions for the construction industry.​​​​​​​

Business Support Officer

Stephanie Dey

Stephanie has been an integral part of TNE since its humble beginnings, transitioning into the construction industry as an exciting new chapter in her career.

 

Starting as the TNE Mobilisation Coordinator, Stephanie then moved into the role of Office Manager and PA to the Managing Director. Now as the Business Support Officer, she supports all senior managers and aspects of the business to ensure smooth operations and is instrumental in co-ordinating the various events and sponsorships TNE is involved in. ​​​​​​​​

Plant and Equipment Manager

Michaella McLaughlin 

Joining TNE from a background in Nursing, Michaella moved to Australia from Ireland seeking a warmer climate and outdoors lifestyle. After gaining her Bachelor of Science in General Nursing from Atlantic Technological University in Donegal, Michaella spent two years working as a registered nurse in Ireland before deciding to explore a different career path in the construction industry. 

​

At TNE, Michaella has the very busy job of overseeing the onboarding and mobilisation of staff from site to site, coordinating the plant and equipment and handling services and repairs. Michaella is always taking full advantage of sunny Perth by going camping and spending time at the beach as much as possible.
